Introduction post.
If you came here to learn something about Ethical Hacking you came to the right place. This section will include a wide variety of topics concerning penetration testing. This topic is meant as a brief introduction to how this section of the website is split up and what you will be able to find at each location.
Additional information:
Used operating systems:
Tutorial on how to install BackTrack4 from USB to your HD.
Penetration Testing Training. This is the main parent forum. In here you will find announcements as well as a topic that includes all the updates made to lessons or tutorials as sticky's and the lessons as regular postings. Basic. Learn the basics about networking, the internet, encryption and a lot more. These basics will help you to understand the rest of the course better or can be used as an attribution to the knowledge you already have as well as something to fall back on. Advanced. The area where you will be able to read up in more detail on certain subjects. If you did not fully understood a topic from the training it is advised to look here for more detailed information. Fast Track. Fast Track is the section that stands out from the rest. It will be used to post lessons for people that already have some experience in hacking. Instead of explaining everything from the beginning readers will dive into subjects like Metasploit right away. Additional Lessons. This section contains tutorials on certain tools that come along with BackTrack4. You could if you want to read up on how to use a certain tool but it is advised to wait until they are mentioned in the lessons for less experienced users. PenTesting Discussion Area. This is the discussion area. What have been mentioned in the lessons and tutorials can be discussed in this section. Hax0r PenTesting. Hax0r PenTesting is only available to members that have made a financial contribution to the website. This forum contains topics on for example credit card fraud and phishing. We decided we did not wanted this kind of information to fall into the wrong hands. Therefor these tutorials and not made public to everyone. - There are no stupid questions only stupid answers. -
