Another home user issue. Computer was making restart's by itself.
I mean you are using pc and then it shut's down or restart's.
Ok...
After a while computer screen goes black. The ''windows loading'' boot screen appears, but after few seconds it disappears and black screen becomes your best friend... My advice to the user was to clean the dust, however i feel that was stupid advice and for some reason i think it may be associated with hard drive..
Maybe im wrong? anyone had this problem? What's the solution.

Sounds like it might be drivers. I know my monitor doesn't like anything before the actual login screen and flickers and hates me and goes black, but as soon as the login screen comes up everything is fine and dandy.

Uhmm, listen closely to the hard drive check if you hear a clicking sound. this could indicate the harddrive is giving up soon.
Or try reinstalling windows.

Ok thanks guys , i was thinking about hard drive.. Thing is its my friends PC , he's in holland, so i wont be able to hera the click,but will tell him to check hdd, maybe it'll help and post how it was...
