Hey guys so I'm wondering what is considered unethical hacking since hacking itself revolves around unethical behaviour

Hacking (in the broadest sense of the word) is not limited to unethical behavior. As far as I remember, Zufu made this website with "hack" (rather than settling on something more generic like "security") to help alleviate the general negativity associated with the word.

Ethical hacking can include:
  • reverse engineering malware
  • reversing damage done by malicious hackers
  • finding (or theorizing) and solving vulnerabilities
  • creating security programs

Unethical hacking can include:
  • creating malware and fraudulently distributing it
  • accessing computers without permission of the owner
  • harming/destroying computers without permission of the owner
  • spying on people with stealthy software.
