[CLOSED]7 More suggestions.
Suggestion 1:
Post a topic or let the person that takes care of it post a topic about how HJT is used and what exactly people need to post that experience problems.

Suggestion 2:
Change the name of the forum "HTJ Logs" to "HJT Logs".

Suggestion 3:
Add a favicon to the site.

Suggestion 4:
Make sure the moderation and administration teams keep opening new topics and reply to as many topics as possible. If needed explain how SEO works to them.

Suggestion 5:
Use a more custom image for the background like this one.

Suggestion 6:
Make the index page look more appealing. Remove the parts on it that are part of the header of the forum that describes the location where you are and add some boxes that display statistics or news and put the text now placed there under a link "about us".

Suggestion 7:
Create a page (if wanted hidden from users) to sign up for as many banner exchange sites as possible.

Can and will do. :)

:O OOPS!!! I'll fix that now.

Ah, that's what we're missing. That was on there before, I guess when I fixed the theme it dropped it.

That's a must, the review team who reviewed our site commented on that.

Hmmm.....I'm not so sure about that. What's wrong with the one we have now? Just curious :)

Hmmm....I think that's already in the works. As you'll see in my "to-do list", making the site pages better flow is on my to-do list.

That we can do too, but I don't think the site's really ready for that yet. We don't have enough members, and for that matter enough ACTIVE and STABLE members who are willing to stay for the long haul of the site. I'm afraid if I start exchange linking too much no one will stay on my site and my site will just be a beacon for other sites.

Thanks for the suggestions! :)

I thought this was the default one. Customizing the looks and feel of the site makes it stand out amongst others.

Like, what background part are you talking about?

The Grey (never knew colors are with capital letters, if it is not blame the dictionary) striped one. That is probably attached to the body tag or the main container in the CSS.

Ehhhh.......I don't think so really. There's not much background to see. All you'd see is the very edges.

Maybe someone comes along a better background later that can make the theme more customized.

Yesterday I tried giving it a try to create a banner for the website that looks a bit more professional but I must say it is hard with this theme. The hard colors do not make it easy to design something based on them.
