RE: Easiest next to php
I tried to teach my self Visual C++ at home on my PC ,I purchased a complier a Visual C++6 starter kit which came with Sams Teach Yourself Visual C++ in 24 Hours (24 1 hour chapters).I also purchased several other books ,all claiming to be the easiest at getting you to understand C++ . Well in my cse WRONG ,I was left confused and frustrated. I was trying to write a simple app that converted miles into feet, using the books as a referance ,I just could never get any of my input to compile into a working app. A neighbor of mine who writes device drivers for wireless systems ,sent me over a app he wrote in about 5 minuts that did the conversion ,and it was'nt even close to the way I was trying to write it ! Anyway that was a few years ago and I have the complier still installed on my PC ,and also another app that tesches you C programming. I.ve gone thru that DOS based that in simple terms teaches you C programming well not simple enough for me , cause Iam still clueless. I now have obtained a 5 CD set for learning to be a PC Teachnician(a CBT Computer Based Trainning interactive course)once finished it claims you can pass the A+ Certification test. I plan on learning it all of it. For now can someone point me to a tutorial on these things ,how to upload pictures into a post and also the easiest programming language to learn preferably something that would allow you to design a wb page ,however it can also be something that teaches you how to write a simple working application.

http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ is a good C++ tutorial
Mile to feet conversion is just miles times by 5280.

For developing Web pages:
HTML, tag language, essential for making web pages.
CSS, styling language for document representation.
JavaScript, client side language for interaction.
PHP, server side language.
